Mr. Mamikonian also serves as General Director of OJSC Lianozovsky Sausage Factory. He has been President of Russian Meat Union since 1998. From 1991 to 1998, he held the following management positions at Cherkizovsky meat processing plant: Chief Technologist, Head of Production, Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Cherkizovsky meat processing plant, from 1988 to 1991, he was a Department Chair at Polytechnical Institute. He graduated from Moscow Technological Institute of Meat and Milk Industry in 1981 and received a Ph.D. degree in Engineering Science from the Institute of Applied Biotechnology in 1986. He holds over 100 patents for technical and technological inventions and in 1999 received a Russian Federation State award for achievements in Science and Technology.
