Opening of new Trading House in PermCherkizovo Group, one of Russia's leading integrated and diversified meat producers, is pleased to announce today the opening of a new Trade House in the city of Perm, Russia. The facility is the Group's 14th new regional subsidiary. The launch of the Perm Trade House is in response to increasing demand for higher quality products in the region and is a direct outcome of the Group's strategy to expand its network of regional Trading Houses.

The New Trade House benefits from convenient access to the Perm-Yekaterinburg federal highway, modern western European storage equipment for both frozen and chilled products, and a fleet of modern refrigerated lorries, allowing the Cherkizovo Group to supply the region with fresh, high-quality meat products.

The New Perm Trading House will be supplied by the Group's meat processing facilities in the Ulyanovsk, Penza, and Moscow regions, as well as by the Group's Vasilyevskii poultry complex. The new Trade House occupies more than 600 sq.m.

Igor Babaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cherkizovo Group commented:
"Permsky Kray is a rich region. We wanted to strength its richness and contribute to the region development. Several months ago we had a discussion with Perm Region Governor Oleg Chirkunov. Our strategy fully satisfied him and we underlined the next joint steps. The new Trading House will not only provide a wide range of fresh and high quality products to the region, but it will also help to create jobs, attract new investment, and establish an expanded tax base for the regional budget."
