CHERKIZOVO’S PRODUCTS AWARDED FOR QUALITY AT THE GOLDEN AUTUMN EXHIBITIONMoscow, Russia – October 14, 2009 – Cherkizovo Group OJSC (LSE: CHE), one of Russia’s leading integrated and diversified meat producers, is pleased to announce that it recently won several top awards for its high quality products.
Cherkizovo Group once again demonstrated the superior nature of its meat products when it won the highest awards for quality during the XI Russian agro-industrial exhibition Golden Autumn 2009 that was held in Moscow on 9 – 12 October.
Cherkizovo Group has a long tradition of participation in this important event for Russia’s agricultural sector and this year was no exception. The Company occupied a stand at the Forum and also took an active part in the tasting programme, where visitors were offered samples of meat products well-known for their taste and quality.
Cherkizovo was pleased that its products were not only exceptionally popular among visitors, but also attracted praise from the jury of the annual contest and received the following awards:
• Gold Medal – Doktorskaya and Telyachya cooked sausages
• Silver Medal – Nezhnie po-cherkizovski cutlets, Moskovskie frankfurters, Kremliovskie hot-dogs and Teliachyi wieners
• Bronze Medal - Lipetskaya special raw-jerked sausage
