Cherkizovo Group Meat Processing division awards granted recognising high quality productsCherkizovo Group OJSC, one of Russia's leading integrated and diversified meat producers, is pleased to announce today that it has received a number of awards recognising the high quality of the products within its meat processing division.
At The Meat Industry International Forum, Cherkizovo's meat processing plant was awarded a Grand Prix award for its "Armavirskaya" brand of high quality semi-smoked sausage, which complies in accordance with State Standard GOST 16350. The plant was also awarded with a gold medal for its delicacy product range. This includes the "Po-streletsky" brand of meat rolls, "Imperskaya" ham, raw smoked products such as "Milanskya" salami and "Felino" sausage products. Canned beef product "Govyadina tushenaya v/s" (GOST 5824) and cooked-smoked sausage "Felino" were awarded a silver medal for high quality.
At the 14th PRODEXPO-2007 international exhibition, Cherkizovo's meat processing plant was awarded a gold medal acknowledging the highest quality for its raw smoked sausages brands "Egerskaya with Madera" and "Felino". The Group was also awarded silver medals for its "Rulet Parketta" meat roll and "Imperskaya" cooked-smoked sausage. Its canned food product "Chicken in own juice with spicery" was acknowledged with a diploma at the exhibition.
Cherkizovo was also pleased to be invited to participate in the Green Week 2007 international exhibition which took place in Berlin, Germany, and was supported by Russia's Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Finance. The Moscow section of the exhibition was represented by two selected companies, including Cherkizovo Group.
